The Liberal leadership race has turned into a complete scandal, with Ruby Dhalla being removed from the race just days before she was set to debate Mark Carney. Dhalla is calling out the Liberal establishment, claiming she was disqualified on false charges to ensure Carney’s path to power remains unchallenged. This isn’t a leadership race—it’s a coronation, and Dhalla was the last obstacle standing in the way.
The party claims Dhalla violated leadership rules, but the timing is too perfect to be a coincidence. With Carney failing to inspire grassroots support, eliminating real competition was the only way for Trudeau’s inner circle to push their chosen successor forward. Dhalla learned of her disqualification not through an official notice, but through the media, showing just how rigged this process really is.
Chandra Arya, another Indo-Canadian candidate, was already forced out of the race in January, and now Dhalla’s removal raises serious questions about whether this entire process was designed from the start to install Carney without a fair vote. Trudeau’s circle has been backing Carney for months, and now they’ve cleared the way for him—without letting Canadians hear an actual debate.
With Dhalla gone, the Liberals have successfully shut down any real challenge to Carney. Why is the media ignoring this? Why is no one asking how a man who has never been elected to anything is being handed the role of Prime Minister? If the Liberals can rig their own leadership race, what does that say about how they’ll run the country?
Canadians deserve real democracy, not a handpicked leader installed by Liberal elites. Dhalla’s removal proves this race was never real—it was always about securing power for the establishment. With Trudeau’s legacy at stake, his allies are doing everything they can to make sure Carney takes over, no matter how undemocratic the process becomes.
