Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the country’s Official Residence to the Italian Republic in Rome on Saturday.

Uh the Canadian people will stand in steadfast and unwavering uh support of your leadership uh of the people of uh Ukraine. Uh we admire what you’re doing. We admire your commitment to peace as you demonstrated again uh this week. It’s important when two sides want to finish the war and uh we really waited for Putin and he didn’t come. with that he afraid of bilateral just direct talks h but anyway I think that the decision of exchanging of prisoners war prison is very important but thousand people it’s a lot and I hope we will get this result and um of course we have to make pressure more pressure on Russia on Putin to to really to make peace as quick as possible and of course unconditional ceasefire is very very important and that’s why we need to pressure on him more pressure more sanctions we are thankful
