The Privy Council of Canada dropped one of the most damning reports to ever come out of the council in the history of Canada. It pains a grim picture of Canada by 2040 under Liberal rule if things don’t change immediately.
We caught the CBC LYING about the report and in particular the size and importance of the Privy council, blowing that organizations credibility right out of the water.
PLUS, we show you who the Privy Council is and just how big they are. You’ll never believe the CBC again when you see this!
Video Transcript:
(00:00) Canada’s CBC has blown their credibility by claiming to not know who the Privy Council is. By claiming to have had to research in the doldrums of the government who the Privy Council is. And why this is important is a privy council report that came out today read by Pier Polyv when he was asked a question. We’re going to look at it today.
(00:23) It paints a dire picture of the Liberal Canada leading into 2040. CBC actively tried to cover it up. I’m going to prove it to you. It’s actually proven just right behind me. Privy Council has its own building. Let’s [Music] [Applause] go. Well, snip snap. I am calling out bull crap. Here we go. Fellow Canadians, brace yourselves.
(01:03) This is probably the worst of the election campaign so far. The Privy Council of Canada, the Privy Council Office that reports directly to the Prime Minister, PCO for short if you want CBC, the central agency advising our prime minister, has released a report painting a dystopian picture of Canada by 2040 if current Liberal policies persist.
(01:26) Now, not only is this not making headlines, CBC actually tried to claim you wouldn’t find this department. This is not political rhetoric now. It’s a stark warning from the very heart of our very own government. I’m sure they’d be quite insulted to think that the CBC doesn’t even know who they are. But don’t worry, they actually do. Here’s the thing.
(01:46) Here are some excerpts from this. We’re going to even take the take a look at Pierre reading some parts of this. And then we’re going to look at the horrific CBC claim shortly. The host or the report rather uh warns I’m all wound up here. The report warns of economic collapse, societal breakdown, and mass immigration out of this country.
(02:09) Imagine a Canada where citizens resort to illegal hunting for fish and game in our public waterways and parks. This is a scenario that the Privy Council office painted for this. They deem it plausible if we stay this course. Take a look at Pierre Polyv being asked a question about this today and how he addressed it.
(02:35) And from the Toronto Sun and Post Media, hey Joe, nice to be here today and thank you. Um, I would be remiss as a reporter to not talk about what you talked about and I want to talk about the platform, but just before that, you mentioned about this report out of the Privy Council. Yeah.
(02:54) Now, as a crime reporter, if you will, when I hear something like that, I cannot believe what I’ve heard. And it’s such a stark contrast to what you um talked about in your platform. But I do want to go back if you can address that how that’s going to help fix it. But that is the most negative thing in my 40 years in journalism that I’ve ever heard about Canada.
(03:14) I don’t see it too many places in the media and I think it can’t be glossed over. So I’d like to to uh to talk about that and how you’re going to fix that if you win on uh next week. I think you’re absolutely right. I am I am shocked that like this is not um a an interest group or an opinion columnist or even a think tank that has put out this report.
(03:42) It is and it is not even just a government department. It is the prime minister’s personal department. Like I think somebody has to ask Mark Carney, has he seen this report? his department wrote it and what they are what they are anticipating on the current trajectory is a total meltdown a societal breakdown in Canada if we stay on the current track why this isn’t blazing the head the front pages of every news outlet in the country right now is beyond me it’s just unbelievable unbelievable like just it’s just it blows my mind what they’re actually saying is that what I’m
(04:30) just going to read some of these more people this is for the future this is not it’s not enough for Mr. Carney to say, “Oh, well, the last 10 years is in the past. Forget about it. Stop bothering me about the past.” He will say, “This is the predicted future his department foresees for Canada. More people may struggle to afford rent, bills, or groceries.
(04:48) The resulting stress could worsen mental health challenges. This would increase demand on social services. In 2040, upper upward social mobility is almost unheard of in Canada. Hardly anyone believes that they can build a better life for themselves or their children through their own efforts. Many worry about sliding down the social order.
(05:12) In 2040, owning a home is not a realistic goal for many. Inequality between those who rent and those who own has become a key driver of social, economic, and political conflict. In 2040, pursuing a post-secary education is no longer considered a reliable path to social mobility. Fewer young people choose post-secary education, and those who do see it less as a path to a successful career than a way to reinforce their membership in the quote elite. That’s not my words.
(05:42) That’s the government’s words. The reports paints a terrifying picture of a spiral of economic depression and cost inflation. people may lose faith in the Canadian project. It says it forecasts that this may trigger people to quote immigrate to jurisdictions where they perceive upward social mobility or other higher standards of living are easier to obtain.
(06:08) If young workers leave, it may become harder to pay for our social programs for the older people in the country. And then this this this last line, it just it staggers me that because groceries are expected to become so expensive, according to Mr. Carney’s top government department, people may start to hunt, fish, and forage on public lands and waterways.
(06:32) Like this is it is it is just hard to believe when you read these words that this is about Canada. This is exactly why I’m in politics, to reverse this, to give people back the promise of this country. And we know what to do. We know how to get there. We have to unleash a plan for change. A plan that will cut people’s taxes so their hard work pays off.
(06:57) That will remove bureaucracy so we can build over 2 million homes. That will lock up the violent criminals. that will unleash our resources to generate a a half a trillion dollars of extra economic growth that will fund schools and hospitals and opportunity for our people. That’s what’s at stake. That’s what change means.
(07:21) As you can see there, Conservative leader Pierre Polyv did not mince words emphasizing that these aren’t his predictions. These aren’t his words, but those from the Liberal government’s own advisory body, the Privy Council. Now, CBC, when we take a look at their clip, won’t even mention that it’s the Privy Council because if they did, they’d know how the ridiculous they look when they say the next part, which is that they didn’t know who this office is.
(07:49) I keep harping on this cuz I got a ton to show you on this. Okay, so but here’s the thing. Let’s take a look at the Privy Council. Well, that’s a rather large building, isn’t it? Anyway, we’ll get to it. But what is the Privy Council Office for those of you who watching this that don’t know? Because in some ways the CBC is right.
(08:09) Most Canadians probably don’t really know who the Privy Council is, but they are extremely important. It’s the nonpartisan body that is designed to support the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister’s cabinet, providing expert analysis on policy and governance while governing. Historically, the Privy Council’s insights have actually been instrumental in shaping Canada’s growth and trajectory.
(08:36) There are a ton of examples where the Privy Council has been in front of the prime minister, has been in front of the cabinet giving advice. This is what they are designed to do. They are completely nonpartisan and they are designed to say what we are doing is either right or wrong or here’s how we could change it if we need to.
(08:56) And this dire report is not written like the CBC will tell you it’s written. Okay, the CBC in this clip and again I’m wound up about this clip because it’s ridiculous will tell you that this is is just dramatic exaggeration. But consider that there are past examples of the privy council. Consider that McDonald Commission of the 1980s which laid the groundwork for the Canada US Free Trade Agreement, the one Donald Trump’s violating today, or the 2004 securing an open society policy, which redefined our entire national
(09:32) security framework all came from the Privy Council. These weren’t mere suggestions. They were actual blueprints for Canadian action. This is the Privy Council. And what’s key to this is it paints the most dire picture of Canada we have ever seen. And that is because of the liberal trajectory we are on over the last decade.
(09:58) But what’s the media doing? Well, some media outlets, including the CBC, have completely attempted to downplay this report as nothing, suggesting that it’s from a nothing department, something buried in the government where every once in a while they write a an essay or a paper on things. That’s not at all what this is. This is a huge disservice to Canadians, and I’m going to show you in a second what I’m talking about.
(10:25) The Privy Council’s office role is pivotal. They have an entire building dedicated to them and the prime minister and its warnings should not be dismissed lightly. There are signs on the front. Take a look at this. A sign on the front of the building that says office of the prime minister and the privy council. How can you not know what this is? CBC, you are lying. You are lying.
(10:50) This office is in Ottawa. Have you seen this building? Well, guess what? That’s the office of the prime minister and the privy council. That is an entire office dedicated to this. Canadians, take a look at CBC right now. An interesting one. Laura, what do you make of this? I I this was one of the four questions uh he took today at his platform launch.
(11:15) Joe Warington, I think from the Sun chain asked the question. Uh and it it does paint this sort of apocalyptic hellscape that uh is a low probability outcome here. Yes. I mean I I and I’m sure many people have never heard of this area of government. We had to sort of look it up and read the fine print that it’s not really a government of Canada document.
(11:36) It’s a predictive measure. I I would I would venture to guess that that the bureaucrats of Policy Horizons are not getting fired in Pier Poly of Canada after today. But um look, I think I think it’s clearly over the top, but I think that the sentiments are valid that are part of this, right? I mean, you see things like by 2040 no one will be able to afford a house and you have to have inherited wealth.
(12:00) Well, like welcome to right now, right? I mean, we’re when we’re talking about the issues uh affecting people, particularly young people today, it actually is true, right? I mean, people cannot afford to live in this country right now. And um maybe we won’t be hunting and pillaging and foraging in in 15 years for food or maybe we will but according to this document but I think kind of some of the ideas when you when you strip back some of the the the exaggerative language I think are valid and sort of what what the conservatives are trying to capture
(12:31) with their their policy platform today right their costed platform which is life is really expensive and it doesn’t really there doesn’t seem to be an out and so these are our proposals for it. You know, whether it deserved to have all the attention drawn to it today. I think that’s another question. But I think some of some of the points made um probably strike a tone with a lot of voters, particularly young people.
(12:54) She literally says they had to do the research to dig up this this office. Google Privy Council. Just do it right now. Pause this video and Google Privy Council of Canada. The very first listing that comes up is exactly what this council is from the Government of Canada’s website. They did not have to do any research or any digging.
(13:18) And Caillou and his little minions there at CBC are really starting to piss me off because this is now beyond election interference. This is internal internal okay domestic election interference at this point. To say that you do not know who this department is and that this is an exaggeration is an absolute disservice to Canada because you are trying to keep your jobs.
(13:45) You know that the person that’s reading about this on stage that’s answering the Toronto Suns question is al also the same person that’s trying to defund you. And you know if you get defunded you’re not going to have a job. So instead, you’re going to claim that the Privy Council, its entire office, the signage outside, and the things that it does do not exist.
(14:06) But that’s And you know it, CBC, and the rest of the media that is also pushing the Liberal agenda knows it, too. Canadians, the choice is truly ours. It’s time to stop this madness. We can heed the warnings from our nation’s top adviserss, or we can go down the CBC road and bury it like dog poop because they want to keep their jobs.
(14:28) We can continue down a path that leads to uncertainty. Or we can hold our leaders accountable and demand policies that secure a prosperous future for us all. You can choose to believe Caillou and his little minions on CBC, or you can actually vote for change. It is time to share this video. It is time to show how evident the Privy Council actually is and that the media is trying to cover it up.
(14:58) And there is proof in that clip when you see everything I just showed you here today. Signage outside the building. The first Google result on who the Privy Council is is directly from the government of Canada. And yet this lady and this host on CBC have the audacity to insult Canadian intelligence. To say that this department is a buried department nobody knows about.
(15:28) To say that they had to dig and dig to find who this department is and this means nothing is direct domestic interference of this election. And they proved it today. Get out there and vote. Vote conservative. The madness must stop. This is it. This is where we need to vote for Canada’s future. Vote for your kids’ future.
(15:52) Vote for your grandkids future. The privy office, privy council office is real. It is very, very important. And they paint a very dire p picture of our current trajectory with the liberals. Vote. We’ll catch you next time.
